To complete our international kitchen team, we are looking for energetic, motivated and trained chefs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, dish room and back dock
- Practicing safety and sanitation standards
- Having a sense of urgency
- Communicating professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff
- Cleaning dishes and operating a dish machine
- Stocking products
- Recycling products
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to perform duties which require bending & reaching
- Ability to lift & transport up to 20 kg (containers, dish racks, and trash cans).
- Stand or move for up to 8+ hours.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold and loud/noisy environment.
- Maintains a well-groomed appearance, including clean uniform
- Practices all general safety & sanitation standards.
- Remains calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
- Shows a high level of organization, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Displays a positive and friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.
The job offered is a full-time position and legal paperwork needs to be on hand. Work holiday visa will also be accepted. English language is essential.
