We are a boutique real estate developer in Washington DC (lotsquared.com) and we need a full-cycle recruiter to help us source, interview, and assess candidates in the United States for jobs in:
- Inbound sales
- Construction operations and administration
- Office / business administration
- Architecture
- Procurement
This is both a candidate-facing position and a back-office position. They will be the first face from our company that a US candidate will see, so we want someone who makes a stellar first impression. They will need to possess attention to detail, big-picture focus, and the ability to analyze others. They will research and source US leads, so strong research skills are also required.
Regular hours for this job are 9am to 6pm EST Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends.
Job Responsibilities
Planning
- Identify job requirements and ideal candidate qualifications
- Develop hiring funnel
- Draft and post job advertisements on different platforms (e.g. Indeed, LinkedIn)
- Draft hiring materials templates including hiring scorecards, interview scripts, emails, daily reports
- Set up online testing assessments and administer them to candidates
- Set up recruiting project in our ATS (FreshTeam)
- Incorporate best practices and past lessons learned
Lead Generation
- Research sources of talent both in U.S. and internationally
- Reach out to prospective candidates using LinkedIn, Email, Indeed, texting, and phone calls
- Schedule screener and interview calls with prospective candidates
Recruiting & Interviewing
- Calibrate recruiting efforts to focus on top candidates
- Conduct screener interviews, in-depth interviews, technical interviews, and team interviews with candidates
- Communicate expectations about the hiring process to job candidates
- Serve as liaison between candidates and company
- Schedule and administer assessments
- Make recommendations as needed on candidates
Hiring & Onboarding
- Negotiate compensation with successful candidates
- Answer questions and be a resource for new hires
General
- Keep informed about hiring best practices in our industry
- Stay informed on talent hiring technology
- Stay informed on the international markets where we hire
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter
- Strong English written and verbal skills
- Small or medium business experience preferred
- Experience finding talent pools / sources online, especially in other countries
- Experience with hiring remote or international candidates
- Strong knowledge of talent recruiting technologies and strategies
- Strong problem solver who can come up with creative solutions
- Highly organized and able to prioritize their time and tasks
- Enjoys building relationships and meeting new people
- Has a reliable office or space to work regular hours and a reliable internet connection.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
